Dream Wife announce Bandcamp-exclusive megamix to raise funds charity Rainbow Mind

Female punk rock trio Dream Wife is bringing the masses nine “original bangers” to raise funds and awareness for the UK charity Rainbow Mind who focus on the mental health of LGBTQIA+ individuals in Greater Manchester and London.

The band, with contributions from icons in the community such as Shirley Manson (Garbage), Lucia & The Best Boys and Nova Twins, will be dropping the Mix Tape on May 7th exclusively on Bandcamp, and it promises to be an incredible “ode to the support & friendship we have found & called home”.

Dream Wife, consisting of Rakel Mjöll (lead vocals), Alice Go (guitar, vocals), and Bella Podpadec (bass, vocals), also issued a call to arms for acts to support them on their March-April 2022 tour spanning all over the UK.

“Wanna play a show with us?? We are super excited to announce an open call for local support bands/musicians to rock out with us in their hometown on our 2022 UK headline tour. All genres, genders and experience levels welcome – just be passionate and pumped to play! Woman, trans and non-binary folks to the front!” – Dream Wife

With a focus on highlighting safe spaces for minorities in the community and representation from underrepresented groups, Dream Wife are bringing the Riot Grrrl spirit and politics to 2021 with an authentic style no one can ignore.

Make sure to catch the ‘DW Megamix’, dropping May 7th on Bandcamp!
